We have a tight deadline on changes, additions and deletions, so we ask that any changes be turned in by April 1. NO EXCEPTIONS! Email changes to Barb Mearkle at bmearkle@bedford-fair.com, or call 814-585-0246 or drop off in mailbox outside office door by the deadline. Please also update your sponsors so they can be included.
All volunteer livestock committee people listed on the website may reserve their campsite at the Volunteer Meeting in February. Space available on a first come first served basis.
**Weekly rates for committee volunteers listed on website are $180 water/electric/sewer, $150 water/electric and $75 for dry camping.
(Information on horse and pony camping will be mailed to volunteers and exhibitors in February thru the extension office.)
***You must pay for your campsite in full when you reserve your site at the dinner or by calling the Fair office at 814-285-6072 or 814-623-9011. This privilege does not include reserving a site for a friend or non-committee person.
All banner money must be collected and turned into the fair office by April 1st. Arrangement for any trophies must be paid for by individual committees.
As we continue to watch expenses, please help by keeping judging expenses down and no class changes that involve extra costs (including additional placings). Please provide Peggy Zembower with the names, addresses, phone numbers and email address of your judges no later than June 1st, so passes may be mailed and hotel reservations, if needed, can be made. A signed Judges Form, provided in the judging book, must be signed by the judge and turned into fair office for payment. If not turned in before fair, payment will be mailed after Fair.
Each department must have a telephone number of the Superintendent listed on the website in case an exhibitor has questions when filling out entry forms. Please review your Department information, rules and classes on website BEFORE June 1st and notify Barb with any questions or changes!
